The philanthropic arm of Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House is looking to give away $6,000 in scholarships this fall.

Vagabond Charities Inc. says it will give six $1,000 scholarships to residents of Atlantic and Cape May counties who are enrolled in undergraduate studies or trade school this fall. Graduates from Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township high schools, the municipalities in which the two Vagabond restaurants are located, will be given preference.

Among the program guidelines:

Applicants must have a record of volunteerism in their community and/or work experience in addition to high school or college workload.

Applicants must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in a two-year community college or a four-year college or university or trade school for the fall semester.
