Earlier this month, it was announced that St. Louis County had 11,800 incomplete applications for the 2025 Senior Citizens’ Tax Freeze pending. These were applications that had been timely filed before the June 30 deadline but which — supposedly — were missing either documents or signatures. Applicants had until Sept. 30 to supply the missing items.
The county said it was going to send emails or postcards earlier this month to those affected so they could be corrected. But in the meantime, residents were told to check their status on the St. Louis County website .
