JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is in life-threatening condition after officers say he was shot in the head in Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says this happened at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday in the area of Heritage Lake Drive, where officials found a man with a gunshot injury to his head.

The man is currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.

JSO investigators believe the man was shot during a domestic incident.

Everyone involved in this case is currently in custody and there is no threat to the public.
