Unicaja Malaga defeated the NBA G League United 71 – 61 in the 2025 FIBA Intercontinental Cup Final to claim the title for the second straight year.
Killian Tillie (14 points), Tyler Kalinoski (12 points) and Kendrick Perry (11 points, five rebounds, five assists) scored in double figures from Malaga. The Spanish team trailed 31 – 36 near the end of the first half but went on to dominate the third quarter 23 – 5 to enter the fourth period up 56 – 41.
NBA G League United made a quick 6-0 run but ultimately didn’t manage to come back from that margin as Malaga went on to establish a double-digit advantage for the remainder of the game.
