LYNN, Mass. —
One man is dead after his car crashed head-on into an MBTA bus Sunday morning in Lynn, MBTA Transit Police announced.
The crash happened at 4:30 a.m. Sunday on the Route 107 Bridge on Western Avenue. The victim, a 41-year-old man, was driving a Honda Civic when it veered into the opposing lane, striking an MBTA bus head-on.
The bus was not carrying any passengers at the time of the incident.
The bus driver was not injured.
The victim, whose identity has not been revealed, died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
Transit police are investigating the crash.
