Slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk "lit a fire" in America, conservative CNN pundit Scott Jennings told a crowd of evangelical Christians in Des Moines, urging them to "keep fighting" for Kirk's values.

"Charlie is gone, but the movement grows," Jennings said. "The conversations and the debates continue. The fight for America’s soul goes on. He gave his life for that fight. The least we can do — the least — is to keep talking, keep telling the truth and, more than anything, to keep fighting."

Jennings was one of a number of Republican speakers who praised Kirk's legacy to a crowd of hundreds of conservatives gathered in Des Moines on Saturday, Sept. 20, for the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition's annual fall banquet.
