The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to crack some bad history against the New England Patriots . They have not won in Gillette Stadium in 16 years, and not only have struggled to win on the road in Foxborough, but have often failed to beat the Patriots period.

Even in the post Tom Brady era, the Steelers are 0-2 against the Patriots, losing to the likes of Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe at home. Since Brady entered the picture, the Patriots are 14-4 against the Steelers.

Pittsburgh largely dominated the series pre-Brady, but that lopsided nature has been flipped on its head over the last 25 years.

In 2008, the last win the Steelers had in Foxborough, they blew out the Matt Cassell-led Patriots 33-10. That was their first and only win at Gillette Stadium in franchise history.
