COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Law enforcement said they arrested an armed robbery suspect Saturday morning.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), detectives found a suspected stolen truck in the area of South Institute Street at 9:30 a.m.
Police say the truck was used earlier in the week during a convenience store robbery in which the male suspect threatened to shoot the clerk. Detectives identified the driver of the truck as the suspect from that robbery.
When law enforcement tried to contact the vehicle, police said the suspect ran from the scene and ignored the officers’ commands while reaching into his pockets.
