COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police are investigating a reported stabbing at a Colorado Springs Park.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to Penrose Main Hospital at 3:52 p.m. on Saturday regarding a walk-in stabbed victim.
The victim told officers he was at Monument Valley Park when another male stole his backpack, and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, police say the victim was stabbed with an unknown object to the side of his neck, which resulted in eight sutures.
The suspect has not been identified. This is still an active investigation.
