PHILADELPHIA — Eagles head of security Dom DiSandro was hit with a huge fine recently, according to a report by Derrick Gunn on his X account.
Gunn, attributing a league source, wrote that DiSandro was fined $75,000 last week for texting from the bench area during the Eagles’ preseason game against the New York Jets at Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford.
The Eagles reportedly appealed the fine, but the appeal was denied. The Eagles do not comment on fines from the league.
The NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo posted on X that the Eagles argued that DiSandro only had one foot in the bench area at the time of his text.
It was an expensive foot.
