(WNDU) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have moved up two spots, and the Indiana Hoosiers now sit just outside of the top 10 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll .

The Irish (1-2) moved up from No. 24 to No. 22 after picking up their first win of the season against Purdue while the Hoosiers (4-0) jumped eight spots from No. 19 to No. 11 after an eyebrow-raising 63-10 win over No. 9 Illinois .

As for other regional teams in the poll, Michigan moved up two spots from No. 21 to No. 19 after defeating a previously undefeated Nebraska team on the road.

NEWCOMERS : TCU (No. 24) and BYU (No. 25)

DROPPED OUT : Utah (No. 16) and Auburn (No. 22)

BIGGEST JUMP : Indiana (eight spots)

BIGGEST DROP : Illinois (14 spots)
