The first half of the New York Jets game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is in the books, and the Jets are trailing the Buccaneers, 20 – 6.
The game opened with the Jets on offense and they immediately did something stupid. Braelon Allen chose to bring out a kickoff into the endzone and the Jets gave up 6 yards of field position to start the game. The Jets ultimately put together a nice drive, aided by multiple Buccaneers penalties, and Nick Folk kicked a field goal for an early 3 – 0 lead.
The Buccaneers answered with a field goal of their own to tie the game at 3 – 3 on a drive that saw penalty after penalty called on a makeshift Tampa Bay offensive line.
