Aaron Rodgers climbed up the passing touchdown ranks on Sunday afternoon.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback connected with DK Metcalf on a 12-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter against the New England Patriots. The score not only made it a 14-0 game, it also marked Rodgers’ 509th career passing touchdown.
Rodgers passed his former teammate, Brett Favre, and stands alone in fourth place, now behind Peyton Manning (539), Drew Brees (571) and Tom Brady (649) in all-time passing touchdowns.
The 41-year-old was drafted by the Green Packers in 2005 and spent three seasons under Favre before he took over as the starter in 2008.
Rodgers also passed Phillip Rivers (63,440) for sixth-most passing yards in NFL history.
The Steelers signed Rodgers to a one-year deal over the summer
