MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Detectives with the Maryland Heights Police Department are investigating an attack on a walking trail.

According to Officer Terry McComas, a police spokesman, the attack happened around 8:50 a.m. on the Fee Fee Greenway Trail near the Westford Drive access point.

Police said the assailant did not display a weapon. Police did not disclose if the victim was injured.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, standing 5’8” to 5’10”, and weighing 160 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, khaki shorts, a t-shirt, and a baseball cap.

Police are asking anyone who lives in the area or were walking the trail at that time and may have seen the suspect to call police.
