Over 150 athletes ran and biked Sunday morning to raise money for a worthy cause.
Erie Cancer Wellness Center organized its third Annual Duathlon, which is its largest fundraiser of the year.
Since the non-profit began the event three years ago, they have raised nearly $90,000 to support people whose lives have been touched by cancer.
Every year, the event grows in size, and organizers said the community support is what helps them achieve their mission.
Jackie Wassel, executive director at Erie Cancer Wellness Center, said, "We have a 5K run, 20K bike and a 5k run. Many of these individuals are here because they care about those in the community that are faced with cancer."
