This summer, more than two dozen students from San Dimas High School and La Verne’s Bonita High School volunteered with Project Think, a program at Claremont’s Pitzer College designed to prepare TK-8 students for the upcoming school year and instill a love of learning.

In the program, the high school students assisted Project Think master educators and college interns in teaching a variety of science, technology, engineering, art and math courses, including drama, creative writing, music and dance, as well as foreign languages and sports.

One of those high school students was Aaron Edwards, a Bonita High School senior who has been a member of Bonita’s D Street Dance Team since he was a sophomore. Edwards served as a dance instructor and volunteer for the Project Think, working primarily
