AMARILLO, Texas (KMAR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Transportation’s Amarillo District released its “Know Before You Go” report on lane closures for this week.

According to TxDOT, road closures and detours expected throughout this week include:

Tuesday, • The left lane of westbound I-40 at the Grand Street underpass will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for high-mast lighting operations.

Throughout the Week • Expect various left lane closures on the I-40 frontage road from Eastern Street to Soncy Road for high-mast lighting installation. • Expect various lane closures in both directions of I-27 from SW 45th Avenue to the I-40 interchange for sign placements. • Expect daily lane closures on SH 15 from the east side of Perryton to the west side of Booker for asphalt rehabilitatio
