AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Cadillac Ranch, the iconic roadside art installation west of Amarillo, received an overnight transformation honoring the late Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA.
The row of half-buried Cadillacs was painted red, serving as a backdrop for residents to add spray-painted messages of remembrance and tribute. A sign placed at the site describes the display as a one-week art project in memory of Charles James Kirk, running until Sept. 28.
The public is invited to contribute with “words of gratitude, unity, or prayers,” regardless of political or religious affiliation. Residents have spray-painted messages such as "This is a turning point" in honor of Kirk. • Cadillac Ranch Charlie Kirk Memorial via Chelsea Bernico • Cadillac Ranch Charlie Kirk Memorial
