CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns rode a late rally to an improbable 13-10 victory against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday to avoid the team's first 0-3 start since 2017.
Cleveland's league-leading defense remained suffocating and kept the Browns competitive throughout the contest, holding Green Bay to 230 yards and sacking quarterback Jordan Love five times.
For about 56 scoreless minutes, however, the Browns offense reached new depths of ineptitude, drawing audible boos from the home crowd on multiple occasions. The Browns trailed 10-0 as late as 11:29 into the fourth quarter. Then, as if out of nowhere, the boos turned to cheers.
Cleveland wouldn't put points on the board until just under four minutes remained on the clock, with rookie kicker Andre Szmyt knocking in a 35-yard field
