The Chicago Cubs will be competing in the National League Wild Card Series after they were swept by the Cincinnati Reds this week.

The Cubs lost a 1-0 decision on Sunday, their second 1-0 loss of the series against the surging Reds, and as a result the Milwaukee Brewers won their third straight Central Division title and their fourth in the last five years.

Thanks to their win, the Reds have also pulled into a tie with the New York Mets for the third and final wild card spot in the National League, and they own the tiebreaker over New York, according to MLB.com.

Those Mets will be headed to Chicago for a three-game series against the Cubs beginning on Tuesday night, and they’ll finish the season against the Miami Marlins.
