HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Orion Amphitheater hosted the fourth annual CulturA Festival on Sunday, celebrating and educating during Hispanic Heritage Month.
Local vendors representing a variety of Hispanic cultures attended the festival, offering attendees the opportunity to try different foods and view several traditional pieces that celebrated Hispanic culture.
The event also featured live music, a dancing stage, and a "wellness village" showcasing local health resources, sponsored by Huntsville Hospital.
Melissa Rodriguez, who helped organize the event, said CulturA Festival is a great opportunity for people to learn about different Hispanic cultures, while calling on those of Hispanic descent to celebrate their own.
