LA CROSSE, Wis. — Wisconsin-La Crosse buried five unanswered goals to defeat the Concordia Cobbers 5-0 in nonconference women's soccer on Sunday.

The Eagles went to work early and led 4-0 after the first half. Monica Wawrzyn scored 1 minute, 23 seconds into the game. Aubree Caya, Amaya Thesing and Natila Stadler also scored in the half. Sera Speltz netted the lone goal of the second half.

The Cobbers were outshot 36-3 and 14-1 in shots on goal. Concordia goalkeeper Julia Roark made eight saves.

Concordia (0-3-3) hosts Bethel in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Jake Christiansen Athletic Complex.
