SEATTLE — The living embodiment of Murphy’s Law took the field in New Orleans Saints uniforms Sunday.

The first 10 minutes of the Saints 44-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks were a disaster reel, with the failures growing progressively, maddeningly more egregious.

Consider all that happened as the Seahawks raced out to a 21-0 lead:

On their opening defensive possession, the Saints were poised to get off the field after deflecting a Sam Darnold pass at the line on third and 8. But, after the play, defensive lineman Bryan Bresee was penalized 15 yards for unnecessary roughness after head-butting a Seattle player. Darnold rolled to his left and hit Jaxon Smith-Njigba for a 12-yard touchdown on the next play.

The Saints took over and, facing a 4th and 1, they lined up to run the tush push
