COLUMBIA, Mo. — Chalk up another recruiting win for Missouri men's basketball coach Dennis Gates.

He picked up his third commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle Sunday evening, vaulting the Tigers to the top of 247Sports' class rankings.

Aidan Chronister, a four-star wing from northwest Arkansas, verbally committed to Mizzou on Sunday, according to his social media. He'd visited MU over the weekend and attended Saturday's football game and was scheduled to visit SLU next weekend.

Chronister is listed at 6-foot-7, 180 pounds and plays at The New School in Fayetteville. He's considered to be a shooting threat with the potential to develop a driving and interior presence, too.

Chronister is ranked as the No. 71 prospect in the class, per 247Sports, and the second-best recruit in Arkansas.
