Marcus Rashford was left out of the Barcelona team for their La Liga game with Getafe despite scoring twice in Thursday's Champions League win over Newcastle.

The 27-year-old Manchester United loanee marked his return to England in midweek with two fine goals. However, on Sunday, he was dropped to the bench by Hansi Flick for their home game with Getafe.

According to The Athletic , Rashford was named on the bench after arriving late to training on the morning of the game. The report states that his lack of punctuality resulted in Flick making the ruthless decision.
