CLEVELAND — The only moment you need to hold the lead in any football game is when there's all zeroes left on the clock at the end of the fourth quarter. So, if that's all that matters, then the Browns have nothing to apologize for from their 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers.
Sure, they spent the first 59:39 of game time leaving their fans absolutely certain another loss was heading the Browns' way. They likely were contemplating what awaited the rest of the season as they thought about another stellar defensive performance wasted.
That is, until a series of occurances — a blocked field goal by Shelby Harris and an improbable clocking of the ball with still time left on the clock by the offense — resulted in the 55-yard redemption of kicker Andre Szmyt to win the game for Cleveland.
