MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A special highlight of the Memphis Redbirds' final home game Sunday afternoon was the first pitch, thrown by WREG's Jerrita Patterson.

"What I love so much about baseball, is how it relates to life! You’ll have those moments when you’re ’benched!’ Remember it’s all about how you see it — as being sidelined is a chance to show how a 'setback is a setup for a major comeback!,’" she shared on social media. "Stay focused and stay ready for the moment when you get off the bench and into the game! Thank you Redbirds for the honor to throw out the first pitch at the last game of the season!"
