MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are still searching for two people caught on surveillance video they say shot a 14-year-old outside a Hickory Hill gas station, while the boy's mother says she wants justice for her son.
On Sunday, Memphis police released surveillance video of the boy being shot in a parking lot.
Markeshia Baskerville spoke exclusively with WREG's Harrison Klopp and said her 14-year-old son, Ar’marious, is expected to recover, but that he’s in extreme pain.
“He was shot in the stomach — it came out his back. He has a hole in his colon; he had a hole in his stomach," his mother said. "So of course he’s in a lot of pain right now.”
