A mother-of-two's former partner has been charged with her murder and will be held in custody seven months after her body was found in a river.
Police have been appealing to the public to help work out what happened to Crystal Beale since she was found dead in the Brisbane River on February 22.
The 49-year-old reportedly left a family dinner about 8.30pm the night before and her death was initially deemed not suspicious.
The last confirmed sighting was by her former partner an hour later in Brisbane's West End, police said.
Officers later found one of Ms Beale's sandals in shrubbery in the inner-city suburb and several personal items at nearby Orleigh Park, close to the river.
Investigators also scoured more than 1000 hours of CCTV footage.
