Former LSU teammates Justin Jefferson and Ja'Marr Chase met on the NFL gridiron for a Week 3 clash between the Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.
Both elite pass-catchers were without their starting quarterbacks as Vikings QB Carson Wentz filled in for an injured J.J. McCarthy, and Jake Browning made the start in place of an injured Joe Burrow.
Jefferson finished the game with five catches for 75 yards, helping the Vikings to a blowout 48-10 victory. Chase reeled in five catches for 50 yards, coughing up a fumble that was one of Cincinnati's five total turnovers.
Despite the ugly loss, Chase was still all smiles during his postgame meeting with Jefferson at U.S. Bank Stadium.
