Two people have been taken to hospital after a chemical incident in Brisbane's CBD.
The Queensland Ambulance Service was called to the intersection of Mary and George streets shortly after 11.20am on Monday morning.
At least four people were assessed by paramedics, with two taken to St Andrew’s Hospital in stable condition.
The other two individuals were treated at the scene and did not need to be taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed the details, noting the situation was still ongoing.
"Two patients were taken to St Andrew’s Hospital following a chemical leak on Mary Street at around 11:20 am," the spokesperson told SkyNews.com.au.
"Two others were assessed but did not go to the hospital. The two individuals in hospital are in stable condit
