Shock footage captures brazen broad daylight theft as woman breaks through door of clothing store in front of stunned onlookers

Shock footage has captured what appears to be a brazen and violent theft at a designer clothing store in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

Video that emerged on social media shows a woman dressed in a cream skirt, cream jacket and black Nike trainers repeatedly kicking the glass door of Ji Studio, near the corner of Elizabeth Street and Little Bourke Street.

After successfully breaking the lock at the bottom of the door, the unknown woman forced her way through the door as a large crowd of onlookers looked on aghast.

Multiple members of the public could be seen filming as the woman gathered a large pile before leaving the store.
