Chris McCausland has jokingly cried that he's 'yesterday's news' after Dianne Buswell sent a sweet message following their last Strictly Come Dancing performance.

There was a tear-jerking reunion for the pair over the weekend as they returned to the ballroom for one last performance on the hit BBC One dance show.

Fans will recall that there were emotional scenes back in December when the comedian and his professional dance partner lifted the Glitterball trophy following a spectacular 2024 season.

Chris, who made history as the first blind contestant on the show, then returned to the dance floor on Saturday (September 20) with Dianne, as it's tradition for the reigning champions to perform during the launch of the following series.
