Monroe credit union’s appreciation day puts members in the spotlight

Monroe Community Credit Union celebrated its members with a special appreciation day, according to a community announcement.

The event, held Sept. 9 in the Michael Newman Community Room, brought together members, staff and community leaders for food, networking and prize giveaways. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the credit union's products and services.

One of the highlights of the day was the recognition of the Member Testimonial Contest winner. Augustus Martyres, who works in patient registration at ProMedica Monroe, was honored for his story about making a positive impact in the community.
