'Premier League goal' - Colchester boss Danny Cowley sings Bristol Rovers' praises after draw

Colchester United manager Danny Cowley has described Fabrizio Cavegn's goal for Bristol Rovers against the Us in Saturday's 1-1 draw as "a Premier League goal."

The Essex outfit fell behind in the 40th minute despite a bright first half display as Alfie Chang played a delightful through ball into the path of Cavegn who slammed the ball into the roof of the net from a slight angle.

Teenager Micah Mbick's equaliser early in the second half ensured the points were shared on a day where the Gas weren't at their best, but Cowley was extremely complimentary of Rovers and their Swiss striker.
