Stefan Dennis has cheekily played down his dancing prowess as he prepares for his first big Strictly Come Dancing performance.

The Neighbours legend is among the 15 celebrities taking part in the BBC One dance contest this year and he made his first appearance in the ballroom during Saturday's (September 20) launch show.

The first episode of Strictly's 23rd series, which was pre-recorded, saw Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcome the new celebrity contestants onto the dance floor for the first time, before their professional partner was revealed.

Actor Stefan, 66, was partnered with last year's champion, Dianne Buswell, who referred to their partnership as the "Aussie dream team".
