Travellers have been warned of a possible airport closure as a powerful super typhoon approaches.
Flights between Australia and Hong Kong are likely to be affected from 8pm Tuesday to 8am Thursday due to Super Typhoon Ragasa, Qantas said in a statement on Monday.
The airline said it is monitoring the potential impact, with Hong Kong Airport Authority considering shutting down the terminal for 36 hours.
Qantas added that affected passengers will be contacted and offered a flight credit or fee-free date change if they wish to cancel or reschedule their bookings.
