WAYNE COUNTY, Iowa ( KCCI ) - A Wayne County woman is facing charges, including attempted murder, after allegedly injecting a substance like pool cleaner or brake cleaner into a victim’s medication, according to court documents.

According to KCCI , documents state that 36-year-old Halie Spidle carried out this act in an attempt to kill the victim.

Spidle is due in court on Sept. 26 for a preliminary hearing.
