U.S. President Donald Trump gave a wide-ranging tribute to slain activist Charlie Kirk on Sunday, including a surprise mention of Calgary.

While talking about the impact Kirk had, Trump mentioned a prayer service that occurred in Calgary a week ago.

“Charlie would have been so pleased to hear his friends and colleagues giving testimony and giving glory to God,” Trump said at the large Sunday service for Kirk. “Within minutes of the gunshot in Utah, millions of Americans young and old heard the news and dropped to their knees and started praying.
