Leighton Marlan, Lansing Catholic volleyball

The junior helped the Cougars remain unbeaten with a key CAAC White win over Eaton Rapids in five sets. She had 26 assists, nine digs and three aces while helping the Cougars improve to 13-0-1.

Mackenzie O’Brien, Williamston swimming

The freshman contributed to the Hornets earning a win against Ionia on Sept. 18 by taking first in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.25
