(CNN) - More than 3,000 pounds of ready-to-eat seafood sold at Costco are being recalled due to a potential listeria contamination.

The recall affects Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke, which was sold at Costco deli stations in more than 30 states. The products have a sell by date of Sept. 22.

The Food and Drug Administration says the recall was initiated after a supplier announced the green onions used in the product tested positive for listeria. No illnesses have been reported to date, but customers should throw the product away and contact the store for a full refund.
