COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M University launched its new partnership with a big tech company on Monday.

The Google Gemini and Texas A&M Partnership will provide A&M students, faculty, and staff with an abundance of AI resources they didn’t have before.

Google Gemini is a web-based chatbot that provides direct access to Google AI.

However, this partnership gives students, faculty, and staff a more secure alternative than the average consumer, since it is university-approved.

Google representatives, also known as “Googlers,” were on campus with pop-ups ready to interact with Aggies to show them how it works and the different resources they can now access.

The Google Gemini and Texas A&M partnership launch is September 22, 2025. (kbtx)
