Sampson Street reopens after issue with rail car leaves train blocking traffic for two hours

WESTLAKE, La. (KPLC) - An issue with a rail car left a train blocking traffic on Sampson Street for about two hours, officials said.

While Sampson Street cleared around 10:10 a.m., Prater Road remains blocked.

The issue began a little after 8 a.m. Monday, at one point blocking Sampson Street, Trousdale Road and Miller AVenue.
