Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton (21) celebrates a stop in the fourth quarter of the NFL Week 18 game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Bengals at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025. The Bengals won 19-17 to finish the regular season at 9-8.

Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Mike Hilton will reportedly sign a deal with the Indianapolis Colts.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported the news via (X). During the offseason, Hilton would spend some time with the Miami Dolphins, but has remained unsigned throughout the first three weeks of the regular season. The Colts are heading into Week 4 sitting at 3-0. Hilton will be reunited with former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo. With the Bengals, Hilton was a staple and a fan favorite after coming over from the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2021.

Hilton is now 30 years old, but still has a lot left in the tank. Throughout his career in Cincinnati, he would accumulate 6 interceptions and a total of 283 tackles.

Hilton has worked out for multiple teams, but it was the Colts who opted to keep things rolling in Indianapolis. The Colts have been the NFL's biggest surprise thus far. It is reported that Hilton will initially start on the practice squad, but with injuries on the defensive side of the ball for the Colts, he could be activated rather quickly.
