Big things tend to happen on big nights, and during the high school football season few nights are bigger than Homecoming.

All it took was a little Homecoming excitement in front of the home fans and alumni to give the East Coweta football team that little something extra to notch its first win of the 2025 season.

The Indians scored a thrilling 48-31 win over Perry, which featured big performances from some of their top athletes.

“I’m so proud of these kids,” head coach John Small said. “I’ve said the whole time, they didn’t flinch. We haven’t been real happy with our record, but these kids have come to work every single day. I knew it was just a matter of time.”
