Shawn Clark, 50, died 12 days after being hospitalized following a medical emergency.

Clark served as Danny Hope's offensive line coach at Purdue from 2009-12 and before that at Eastern Kentucky.

Clark took over as UCF's offensive line coach last December after five years as coach at his alma mater, Appalachian State.

Clark, 50, was admitted to the hospital Sept. 9 after experiencing what the school classified as a "medical emergency." UCF said Clark had been in stable condition prior to his death.
