The Canadian Football League is making big changes top the game for future seasons to come.
Among the changes announced by commissioner Stewart Johnston are modifications to the single-point rouge rule, team benches will be moved to opposite sidelines, the inclusion of an automatic 35-second play clock, goalposts moved to the back of end zones, a 100-yard field and 15-yard end zones.
No changes will be made to the field's 65-yard width.
These adjustments will be phased into the game in 2027.
The changes were announced during a conference at Hotel X in Toronto on Monday afternoon.
More to come.
