A recent survey conducted to assess digital usage patterns among Baby Boomers indicates that digital addiction may be on the rise for older adults – not just kids.
The survey was conducted by AddictionResource.net, and it entailed asking 2,000 respondents between the ages of 59 and 77 about various aspects of their digital habits.
Included in the survey were questions about screen time, anxiety due to electronic devices and more.
"These insights suggest that a notable portion of the Baby Boomer generation exhibits behaviors associated with digital addiction, such as prolonged device usage, emotional dependence and difficulty reducing screen time," researchers said.
