Legislators and union members are rallying in Hollywood on Monday in support of suspended talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

Five Southern California Democrats—U.S. Representatives Laura Friedman, Ted Lieu, Judy Chu, Nanette Barragán, and Gil Cisneros—will be joined by representatives from the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, and other unions when they gather across the street from Kimmel's studio on the Walk of Fame.

Kimmel's show was suspended a week ago after he commented on the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and partisan reaction to the assassination.
