I-395 South closed due to vehicle fire in Waterford

WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Interstate 395 South is closed on Monday due to vehicle fire in Waterford, state police said.

The fire took place around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Exit 2 in Waterford, according to fire officials.

According to CTDOT, I-395 South is closed between Exits 5 and 2.

Crews from Montville and Waterford are responding to the scene, according to the fire marshal's office.

No injuries have been reported, according to state police.
